Zakarias Gagner new vice Deputy för National Halmstad

National's technical director Zakarias Gagner now also takes up the position of Vice President of National Halmstad. Read his own reflections on his new role here.

1️⃣ In addition to your role as Technical Manager, you will now also take on the role of Deputy CEO. What will that mean in concrete terms? In addition to continuing to be Technical Manager, I will support Markus in his new role as CEO and our other competent members of the management team. But I will also be responsible for parts of our operating system and have overall responsibility for our system support, such as Monitor ERP.

2️⃣ How do you think your experience as Technical Manager will affect your work as Deputy CEO? I will work to ensure that we continue our technical development and strive to develop ourselves technically within all departments. For example, AI will in the future be a support for all departments without replacing people. Because it is all our fantastic employees who will make National continue its technical development.

3️⃣ How do you see the balance between technical development and business decisions in your role as Vice President? We should not always strive to solve things with technical solutions but choose the smart and most economically advantageous solutions. We should look at the whole and the end result, a cost is not always a cost but be what makes a difference so that the whole is better.

4️⃣ What do you think is the key to creating an innovative and technically successful team? That everyone works as a Team! Everyone's experiences and skills are utilized and everyone's different roles make the end result greater than all the parts, Team National! Also that our system support makes us work efficiently, and that we dare to test new tools.nad is not always a cost but be what makes a difference so that the whole is better.
